Firehouse
Description Firehouse is the proud inheritor of over fifty years of club history. The address, No. 3 Cromwell Road, was first used as a nightclub and illicit gambling den in the 1950s and in the 1960s became a hangout for the likes of Tom Jones, Jimi Hendrix and the Rolling Stones. Having been a famous South Kensington landmark for many years latterly as Bratts and then the Hudson Club, No. 3 Cromwell Road became the location for Firehouse in September 2002. Lovingly restored and refitted, Firehouse recaptures the style and discretion of a bygone era. Each of the three floors offers a different mood and experience, from the relaxed elegance of the upstairs restaurant, to the luxurious decadence of Boudoir.
Firehouse remains a private members' club, however, the restaurant is also open to non-members, although an advance reservation is recommended. Diners then have access to the rest of the club after their meal.
