Set in beautiful Coverdale, Abbots Thorn is a lovingly converted former Dales farmhouse, ideal for walking, bird watching, touring, fishing, golf or just relaxing. We have been graded 4 stars by the VistBritain quality inspectors. Take your choice from a hearty "full Yorkshire breakfast" to pancakes and maple syrup or porridge. Superb evening meals, all produce sourced locally wherever possible. All 3 bedrooms face south to give wonderful views over Coverdale and have fully adjustable central heating, tv, hairdryer, radio alarm clock and a complimentary selection of teas, coffees, hot chocolate, biscuits and fresh milk. Breakfast and evening meals are served in the convivial dining room, after dinner coffee and complimentary liqueurs in the oak beamed guest lounge (with wood burner for those chilly evenings). We are ideally located for Wensley, Leyburn, Middleham, Reeth, Aysgarth Askrigg and Hawes - to name but a few places of interst. A warm welcome awaits.
