The Old Bakery rooms which belong to the sister company of The Old Bakery Restaurant have been awarded a 4 star Quality in Tourism Assessment Rating.
All rooms have a colour TV, radio/alarm, central heating, tea and coffee
making facilities and hairdryers and are comfortable and well appointed.
Ensuite facilities are available with freshly laundered towels provided daily for all guests. Ironing facilities are also
available on request.
For the comfort and safety of our guests all rooms are non-smoking.
The award winning Old Bakery Restaurant with Rooms is ideally located in the Uphill area of Lincoln, close to Lincoln Cathedral, Castle and many other points of historic interest in the Cathedral Quarter with it's popular mix of original shops, cafes and public houses which are to be found on the Bailgate and Steep Hill. The surroundings at The Old Bakery are rustic, relaxed and informal.
In February 2006, The Old Bakery received the Lincolnshire Life Best Restaurant of the Year Award and was the winner in Tastes of Lincolnshire Restaurant Category.

Lincoln’s award winning premier restaurant with rooms opened on the first day of the Christmas Market 2004 following the purchase of the Old Bakery on Burton Road by local couple, Alan and Lynn Ritson.
Until then, The Old Bakery had been run solely as bed and breakfast premises, but with a major refurbishment of the kitchens and ground floor, the premises opened its doors as a fifty-seater restaurant on Thursday, 2nd December 2004, in time for the Christmas festivities, parties and New Year celebrations.
During 2005/06. amongst the celebrities who dined at our restaurant were Sir Ian McKellen, Ron Howard (Director), Sherrie Hewson (Emmerdale & Coronation Street), Colin McFarlane (Batman Returns, The Fast Show, Jonathan Creek, Judge John Deed etc), Laura Csortan (Miss World & Miss Universe) Anita Harris, Mike Margolis, Tony Scannel (The Bill), Phil Harding (Time Team), Vicki Michelle and Sue Hodge (Allo Allo), Victoria Bush (Bad Girls), Fraser Hines, Alvin Stardust, John Marshall (Lincs FM), Rod Whiting (BBC Radio Lincolnshire), Jo Makel (BBC Look North), Chris Kiddey (ITV Yorkshire), Elizabeth Buchan (novelist) and many more....
